The SID will be providing registration grants to support participation to the SID Virtual Meeting during these unprecedented times.
There will be three (3) different applications to choose from.
- Presenting Author Applicants
- Underrepresented Minorities Applicants
- Developing Country Applicants

1. For the Presenting Author Application, the following individuals are eligible to apply:
- Residents in Dermatology and other medical fields;
- Pre- and Post-Doctoral Fellows;
- Medical and Graduate students;
- Junior faculty who demonstrate extreme financial need.
Guidelines to follow:
- Applicant must be the presenting author on an abstract submitted to the 2021 SID Virtual Meeting;
- The abstract must be submitted for oral presentation consideration;

2. For the Underrepresented Minority (URM) Application, the following individuals are eligible to apply:
- Residents in Dermatology and other medical fields;
- Pre- and Post-Doctoral Fellows;
- Medical and Graduate students;
- Junior faculty who demonstrate extreme financial need.
*Our working definition of a URM is someone whose racial or ethnic makeup is from one of the following: African American / Black, Asian: Filipino, Hmong, or Vietnamese, Hispanic / Latinx, Native American / Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian / Other Pacific Islander, or two or more races when one or more are from the preceding racial and ethnic categories in this list.
Guidelines to follow:

3. For the Developing Country Application, the following individuals are eligible to apply:
- Residents in Dermatology and other medical fields;
- Pre- and Post-Doctoral Fellows;
- Medical and Graduate students;
- Junior faculty who demonstrate extreme financial need.
- An individual should be from the country that we have identified as being a developing country. Click here to access this list.
